Otman amer
With nearly 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry gained across several countries, Otman finally settled in Montreal with his wife, Selma Laroussi. After working in various Montreal establishments, he decided to embark on a new adventure: opening their own restaurant, Darna Bistroquet, together with Selma.
Selma Laroussi
A trained landscape architect, Selma is the creative soul behind the decor of Darna Bistroquet. She carefully selected objects that evoke their travel memories and Moroccan roots. Passionate about cooking and hospitality, she designed a warm space infused with Moroccan hospitality while staying connected to the urban spirit of their neighborhood and city.
Our vision
We have poured our heart and soul into creating menus that celebrate local ingredients. Our dishes and drinks, deeply inspired by Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine, are served in small portions designed to encourage sharing and convivial moments. Our goal is to evoke emotions and share flavorful discoveries.
Our cuisine highlights local, seasonal vegetables. Our signature cocktails reinterpret classic favorites with Darna’s unique touch. As for our wine list, it offers a diverse selection perfectly paired with our menu, featuring a wide range of wines by the glass at accessible prices.
